Wake up with Ro

In this hour, aligning to the season has never been more important. There is a call to GATHERING OIL!

Matthew 25

Waking Up the church is a passion of my heart. As one who was lost in church believing she had all of Jesus, I burn to help others find Him. It is the essence of life….to KNOW Him. Living in a culture that esteems head knowledge, it is easy to be deceived that you know Him - as I did. There is no shame, but sweet friend, there is so much MORE!

An Urgent Word for and Urgent Hour

The word the Lord has given me in this hour is to Gather Oil. This oil is cultivated from the secret place with our Beloved. It is the oil of deep knowing that gives us access to the wedding feast as seen in Matthew 25. Most of us are familiar with the verses that speak to ten virgins with lanterns who are waiting on the Bride-groom and get sleepy as He is delayed. When they awake at His call, only half of the virgins have oil for their lanterns. In this hour, oil is not shared. It is personal. It is what keeps you burning. The other half must leave to go purchase oil - which tells us it is costly to get- yet when they return it is too late and the door is closed.

These five that missed Him called Lord, Lord. These five are virgin bride-maids inferring they were pure and set apart. They were waiting which says they were believers yet, they still did not know Him. It is an urgent call - we cannot mistake belief, ministry, and gifts for knowing Jesus (Matthew 7:23).

Knowing Him must take precedence over all other things. A clear the schedule season to get at His feet and see the beauty of the face of Jesus. He says it is a season to eat the scroll. This means we feed on His daily manna believing that we are truly changed by the washing of His Word. It is an hour where He is teaching us to walk in the light, so we can walk in the dark that is inevitably coming. He wants us to live out the word as our truth - nor more lip service {Their lips honor me but their hearts are far from me. Matthew 15:8} He is teaching us about His hand of provision. He is teaching us how to be hidden in Him and abide. He is building our trust as He shows up supernaturally revealing His love to His beloved. He is teaching us who we are in Him, and exposing everything that hinders love so that we can carry Him. The hidden ones who are at His feet will emerge with a new radiance. It will be evident they carry the kingdom by the Holy Spirit glow on their face and by the presence that they release. It’s a pressing hour and we can no longer play church. The bride must arise! The bride has everything she needs for the season to come. The bride has influence from her place of intimacy. The bride has protection and provision in the beloved. The bride has set His love as a seal upon her heart knowing it is strong as death (Song of Songs 8:6). She knows it cost to get oil, but she is willing to go the mountain of suffering love because He is everything to her. As a result of the dark night of the soul (season of pressing), she has become the resting place of God and feasts from the promises of Psalm 91 because she knows Him.

The Bride: Radiant, Ready & Burning E COURSE

The cry in this hour is urgent to GATHER OIL! Rochelle has created this course to prepare you to move toward the call of the hour while integrating emotional and mental health components to get the Bride ready without spot or blemish.

I once saw a pillow that read, “The more you look at the ocean the more you will see.” There is something about coming to water’s edge and listening to the sound of rushing water that invites you into life with Jesus. These moments aren’t luxury but they are a necessity. Below you will find a free model I created called SALVE to start you on a healing journey.

Healing Model : SALVE

SALVE

By definition Salve can be defined as something that soothes or consoles or a balm. Prophet Jeremiah spoke of a balm of Gilead in Verse 8:22 that was missing from the people. Their need for healing was so deep they need the Greatest Physician to step in to bring what only He could. They needed a miracle…a Savior! The beauty of His design is that God invited us into partnership to reconcile people back to His original intent. Aligning to this design, I invite you to take a healing journey committed to bringing your broken soul before the perfect Father and trusted community to heal and grow. We recognize while we are in healing process that we keep our eyes on the One who in a moment could heal it all!

Safety.

The first step in healing is to create safety. It is a challenge to heal when we are in protection or defense mode and our guts are in knots. We heal when we are able to rest in safety and be open to healing.

Assess your safety in environments and with people?
Notice what has your tummy in knots? {People, places, situations}

Do you feel safe in your own skin?

Accept & Cultivate

We must Accept Limits and Cultivate Rhythms that reduce the stress load in our lives so our bodies can heal. In the guided healing journal, you will see a few of the various activities that contribute to healing that you can incorporate into your daily, weekly, and annual rhythms. Some examples are:

Movement, Meditation, Centering Prayer, Nature, and Play

Life Team.

We were never meant to do life solo. His design was that community would be apart of our life experience thus His call to Love God and love people and community would be apart of our healing thus confess one to another that you may be healed.

It’s important when we are setting boundaries and honor ourselves on this journey that we are supported well. This team can include friends, coworkers, counselors, coaches, or other leaders.

Vulnerability.

Brene Brown has landmark research supporting the importance of vulnerability and showing up as our truest self. Isn’t this what we are after? We aren’t just seeking to heal, but to be real, right?

The life of faith actually supports a life of vulnerability though your church experience may not resonate with this truth. Wearing a mask was never the intent of a God that declares that when we boast in our weakness that his hand rest upon us. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Every day be real with what you need from yourself, God and others.

Embrace the Work.

While we can heal and grow with community and even by doing some of our own work, often a professional is needed to help us.
